The Bailey Discovery range is one of the best-selling entry level tourers on the market. The combination of low weight, modern aesthetics and a clean-looking interior have allowed the Discovery range to carve out its own niche within the caravan world. Built using Bailey’s tried and tested Alutec construction, the Discovery is strong and light. The elongated A-frame allows the fittment of an optional extra bike carrier, but also serves to keep the Discovery stable on the road – indeed, it has impeccable towing characteristics, which is reassuring to first time caravanners. 

The D4-2 is the baby of the range. It has an MTPLM of just 998kgs, meaning that most cars can pull it. The compact two berth boasts 6ft long sofas, which can be configured as two single beds or an enormous double bed. The compact galley kitchen is ample, with good worktop space and plenty of storage. The washroom is spacious and includes a shower, toiletry cabinet and a Belfast-style sink. There’s even a heater outlet in the washroom to keep the space warm and allow owners to use it as a drying space for coats, wetsuits and boots.
